Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions. Only those who passed ITI/Diploma/B.Tech during the years 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 & 2026 are eligible. The category/reservation claimed during initial online submission of application only will be considered; candidates cannot change category after submission.

HOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 – Selection Process
Selection will be based on shortlisting through percentage of marks in the qualifying examination, followed by certificate verification, written test / skill test / interview, and medical fitness. Final provisional selection is in the order of merit/reservation, subject to medical fitness. Merely submitting an application or receiving a call letter does not confer any right to the applicant or constitute acceptance of candidature.
Stage 1 – Shortlisting Based on Marks Percentage
Candidates will be shortlisted in order of percentage of marks obtained in the minimum prescribed qualifying examination (ITI/Diploma/B.Tech as applicable to the respective discipline). Only marks entered in the application portal will be considered – if entered marks differ from the mark sheet uploaded, the application will be summarily rejected. Stage 2 – Certificate Verification
Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of original certificates/documents. Candidates must bring original certificates as proof of age, qualification, caste, disability etc., along with self-attested copies. Call letters will NOT be sent by post – candidates will be informed by email or through publication on the HOCL website (www.hoclindia.com). Stage 3 – Written Test / Skill Test / Interview
Candidates who successfully complete certificate verification will be called for Written Test / Skill Test / Interview. Final provisional selection is in the order of merit/reservation from among those who successfully complete all stages, subject to medical fitness.
Stage 4 – Medical Fitness
Appointment of selected candidates is subject to medical fitness as prescribed in Clause 4 of the Apprenticeship Rules 1992 and amendments thereof, and also subject to verification of character and antecedents and verification of caste/disability certificates as applicable.

Who should NOT apply for HOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026?
- Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act in any Government, Public Sector, or Private Organisation – they are explicitly NOT ELIGIBLE to apply.
